The Tri-Village Lady Patriots started tournament play on Saturday afternoon. This first round bout featured a matchup with #10 seed East Dayton Christian. The Lady Pats wasted little time in this one racing out to a 57-8 halftime advantage. With the running clock rule invoked in the second half, Tri-Village would clear the bench and go onto an 82-16 victory.
Your Lady Patriots had 10 players score in this game. Rylee Sagester would led the cause with 29 points, 7 assists, and 7 steals. Morgan Hunt added 22 points, 7 assists, 7 rebounds, and 5 steals. Torie Richards would score 10 points, along with 4 steals. Senior Karsi Sprowl went 4-5 from field, scoring 8 points and securing 5 rebounds. Meghan Downing, Delanee Gray, Molly Scantland, Bella Black, Halle Bell, and Kiannah Jones would each get in the scoring column. As a team, the Lady Pats had 23 steals and 17 offensive rebounds.
Tri-Village (19-2) advances to the second round of the sectional tournament. They are now scheduled to play Tri-County North on Thursday, February 18th. This game is set for a 5:00 tip-off at Brookville HS. Ticket allotment and codes will be the same as the first round. #FiveStrong
