Tri-Village Patriots Varsity defeated Bethel 9-3 on Tuesday thanks to a timely six runs in a big sixth inning. The big inning was thanks to singles by Kiersten Wilcox, Loraligh Waters and Kelsie Wehr, a walk by Reece Arnett, and a double by Kayleigh Osborne.
In the second inning, Tri-Village Patriots Varsity got their offense started. Morgan Hunt drove in one when Hunt doubled.Tri-Village Patriots Varsity took the tie with two runs in the fourth inning. The sixth inning gained the much-needed lead.
Waters earned the win for Tri-Village Patriots Varsity. The bulldog allowed seven hits and two runs over seven innings, striking out eight.
